Photo of the Week #7

The original picture was taken in my grandma's kitchen that has overly bright lights. The picture looked washed out so I chose the auto-enhance feature on my phone trying to fix it but it now looks too dark.

iMovie Tutorials

This video taught me the basics of iMovie. It demonstrated how to use the tabs above and also where everything was such as the project board and window. He used a template to make an "action movie" trailer. This video taught me how to add audio, play videos simultaneously, and add breaks where transitions go. Also, it covered how to add title screens. This video was a follow up on all the basic features of Imovie.

Final Read Poster

I learned how to use Photoshop throughout this project. It took mea while but I learned how to magnetically lasso my portrait and flatten it into the background.

All the prek-er's wait everyday outside the St. Joseph gates to go to class. If I could retake this picture I would get down to their level and get the one kid telling jokes to himself to turn around.

Photo of the Week #4

My photo this week is of the smiley face that I just so happen to make while cracking eggs. The one thing I wish I could fix is the measuring cup in the background because it is distracting. I shot this picture on my phone in a hurry before the eggs ran together but because I used my phone the picture is very rectangular. I tried to photoshop the measuring cup out of the background but unfortunately it was to no avail.

To photoshop my Phil out his original habitat, I used the magnetic lasso tool. The contrast of Phil and the driveway made it easier to cut him out. Next, I got rid of the background and filled it with Phillies red, his favorite color.

I took this picture on my phone and I turned the camera effect to vignette. I like this picture because it's my AP World book which I unfortunately almost always have with me. Also, it's the page I was reading in your class. To make this picture better I would change how dark the "burnt corners" color is because it should be hardly noticeable and not talke away from the picture.
