2012 Year in Review
Sargeant Jeremy Cooney was deployed to Afganistan and left behind a son who was born with cerebral palsy. his son wasn't able to walk..or so he thought. Over the seven month deployment his son Matthew learned how to walk on his own. Matthew showed of his new skill to his unexpecting dad who never thought he would see Mathew walk.
The video footage of Matthew walking to his dad is beyond inspiring. Being a navy kid myself, I know the emotions beyond that exact moment when you see your loved one for the first time in a long time. It was hard to hold back tears watching this.
